zynagent-first application framework

Build command#

Usage:
  zyn build [--timings]

Compile the production application without deploying or running tests.

Example:
  zyn build --timings

Documentation: zyn docs cli/build

zyn build compiles the current application in ReleaseSafe mode for Zyn's versioned linux-gnu-v1 production profile matching the CLI architecture. The profile uses a baseline CPU and pins Linux 5.10 through 6.19 with glibc 2.31:

x86_64-linux.5.10...6.19-gnu.2.31 cpu=baseline
aarch64-linux.5.10...6.19-gnu.2.31 cpu=baseline

The resulting deployment-compatible executable is written to .zyn/deploy_server. Generated views, assets, notification metadata, and credential types are refreshed before compilation.

--timings reports time spent preparing metadata and framework dependencies, running Zig's build script, and building the application. It also shows Zig's build-step summary, including cached steps. Timings do not force a rebuild. Custom build graphs without the framework timing marker report one application-build duration.

The command does not run tests or contact a deployment host. Run zyn check separately to verify the application.

zyn deploy builds for the detected host architecture using its explicit Linux musl target. Matching targets reuse Zig and Zyn toolchain caches. Application builds that directly select -Dtarget and -Dcpu retain Zig's standard cross-compilation behavior; strict core validation requires the selected cores to match the complete resolved target, CPU, and optimization mode.
